~ Ladybugs and Tilda ~

**
Every time Magnolia release a new set of stamps
I fall in love, but seriously, this time is different -
how stinkin cute is this little Magnolia Ladybug.
I wish it was a little doll that I could sit on my
desk to keep me company whilst crafting away.
**
So another two weeks have flown by and it's time
for another challenge at Roses on Paper.
This time Rosette is challenging us to get creative
with our punches.
I just love this new Martha Stewart Ladybug
punch, and how perfect does it compliment
Tilda.

~HIP HIP HOORAY, IT'S ANNIE-MAY'S BIRTHDAY ~

**
~ Hip Hip Hooray, my little girl turned 6 today ~
Actually, I'm really sad, I hoped she'd be my little baby
forever, she's growing up so fast and now she's
started school that young, beautiful innocence is going
to slowly get taken away.
I guess we can't keep them wrapped in cotton wool forever.
**

**
There's another special birthday happening this week too,
Magnolia Down Under is turning 1 - how exciting, can you
believe it's been a whole here of just Magnolia challenges.
To celebrate they have a fun blog hop going on.
And speaking of Just Magnolia's, there is a beautiful sketch
to follow for this weeks challenge.

~ Magnolia Wedding ~

**
I was absolutely shattered that I didn't have any of the
new Wedding Magnolia stamps in time for my friends
wedding this weekend, that is until I was looking through
the Magnolia Magazine for some inspiration and saw a
project with the champagne glass stamp and realised I had
it, still with white paper attached, unused in my stash of stamps!!!
**
**
The main design for my card is from the ladies at
Sketch Saturday, and the inside of the card was
made to co-ordinate with the front.
Unfortunately the camera doesn't show the glitter I've
put onto the Magnolia Roses and the Champagne glasses.

~ Roses on a Paper Box ~

**
Due to one reason or another I've missed the last
couple of challenges at Roses on Paper, however
no excuses allowed this time around, you can't
really miss a challenge when it's your turn to host!!!
For full details of what stamps you can use to qualify
for a wonderful prize from Summer, head over to our
You'll also get some great inspiration from my
fellow Design Team Members.

So with Easter just a few short weeks away I
wanted to create something Easter related and
use soft pastel colours. Ever since I saw the Gable Box
in the Magnolia Ink magazine I knew I wanted to make
one for Easter. I found a great template here to use.
I didn't want a huge window like the box in the magazine,
I just wanted a dainty little peep hole for a just a sneak
peak at the goodies inside.
**
**
Using the gorgeous new paper roses from Magnolia, which
Summer has available in the store, and the beautiful rose
stamps from Magnolia I went for a little bit of a play on
words for my Easter Gable Box, seeing as it's for the Roses
on Paper challenge, I had a little laugh when I thinking of
a name for this posting ~ Roses on a Paper box ~

~ New Blue Baby Bunny ~

**
How adorable is this Baby Bunny. This would have to be
one of the cutest paper piecing patterns I have ever seen.
To be honest I'm not even sure how I found this blog:
http://preciouspiecingsbylisa.ecrater.com/ ,
but I'm really glad I did. Lisa has some gorgeous
patterns available, that are not only very easy to put
together but very reasonably priced.
**
I put this New Blue Baby Bunny card together for a friend
of mine who has just had her first baby boy.
The sketch design I've used comes from the very
talented ladies at Friday Sketchers.

~ Two Cards in Ten Minutes ~

**
Well maybe 15 minutes, but you get the idea -
two quick cards without any leftovers.
I really need to start paying attention to the name on my
Designer Papers, I'm pretty sure they came from one of
the Basic Grey 6x6 packs, but not 100% certain.
**
**
I really need to make a pile of these 'top/bottom' matching
cards so I have them ready when my daughter says to me
5 minutes before leaving for school that she needs a card
for one of her friends. I'm happy to make cards for them,
but not the ones that take a couple of hours - I just don't
think that 13 year old girls would appreciate the time and
effort.

Bazzil
Cherry Cup Cake stamp (found in my stash of goodies)

~ Prep Buddy ~

**
Much to my disappointment my baby girl started school
this year. She is just so excited to be a BIG school girl
now, and I just feel so lost. She has been my shadow
around the house for 5 1/2 years and I'm really struggling
to fill the void during the day.
Oh don't get me wrong, there's plenty to do in the house,
it's just a lack of motivation on my part without
my little helper.
**
Anyway, here in Australia we have whats called the
Buddy System in primary school. All the new Prep kids
get assigned a Grade 6 Buddy to look out for them during
their first year at school.
Annie-May has a gorgeous Buddy, Olivia, and this was the
card I made for her, just to say Thanks.
**
Originally this card was for a sketch challenge, however
I've left it so long to post it that I can't even remember
which challenge it was for.

~ Here's Cheers ~

**
I've never really mastered the art of creating a card for
a man. I really struggle with browns, blues and greens.
Thank goodness Magnolia has come to the rescue with
these stamps from the 'Raise the Ceiling' collection.
The champagne bottle and glass are very versatile and
can be adapted to a pretty feminine card or a
ruggedly masculine card.
