The Basic Grey Paper Pad can also be
found in Summer's shop.

Anya's Saturday Outing

**
Have you gotten your hands on the new
Greeting Farm stamps at Roses on Paper.
Summer has just received a new shipment,
but be warned, they are selling fast.
**
**
My very talented friend, Susan, has been chosen as a
Guest Designer at Sketch Saturday, so of course I had
to join in this challenge to support my friend.
**
Anya was my stamp of choice for this challenge.
I love the sketch, it was great to work with.
After creating a pink version of Pretty Had Anya
I decided to move away from colours of my usual
comfort zone and try various shades of green and aqua.
It doesn't matter what colour combination you use,
she turns out gorgeous each time.

Well as of this week that has now changed.
More challenges - less house work!!!!!!
Hmmmm - not sure how well that will go over
in my house but I'm willing to give it a try.

I had a lot of fun creating this card.
Of all the Magnolia stamps I own this is my

for the Love and Friendship theme.
**
I've coloured the images with Copic Markers
and the used H20's with added glitter for the
ice in the lake and kindy glitz (slick white) mixed
glitter for the snow cappings.
Unfortuntately the photo's don't quite capture
the shimmery effects.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me!!!!

**
It's Valentines Day, and I'm in Love -
with Daisy!!!
**
**
From the moment I saw her I was transported back
to my childhood home, where I would sit in the
back garden for hours on end, making daisy chains.
And who almongst us hasn't pulled the petals of a
daisy - he loves me, he love me not, he loves me!!!!
Admit it, we've all done it, and not just once, over
and over until we got the answer we were looking for.
**
**
This weeks SCS Weekly Inkling was all about making
this absolutely awesome Acetate Box.
Not being one to follow instructions to carefully I had
to make a few adjustment until it all came together,
but in the end I was thrilled with the final results.
I'm not sure that I want to part with it now
that it's finished.
**
**
**
Now, while I have you here I have to share
the very exciting news that has been
going on around here.
The very, very talented Elizabeth Bell,
creator of Sugar Nellie Stamps,
which includes this adorable "Daisy",
has this week announced she will be working
exclusively with 4 companies.
**
So who are they you ask.
Well 2 of the companies are in Europe and
2 of them are in USA.
The first is
Susana's Custom Art and Card Design
and the second one is
none other than our very own
**
Along with our wonderful leader, Summer, the
whole Design Team has been beside ourselves
with anticipation of this annoucement.
Elizabeth will be providing each company with
their own exclusive “Elisabeth Bell” images so
that no two companies will carry a duplicate design.
I am so excited and honoured to be part of the
and look forward to the opportunity of working
with the wonderful new images from Elizabeth.

Wishing for a Handsome Prince

**
I've been spending so much time with my
Magnolia and Greeting Farm stamps that
I almost forgot I have a cupboard full of stamps,
most of which have collected a layer of dust
from being un-used and neglected.
**
**
This card was a bit of a challenge for me.
I needed a card for a 15 year old girl.
Sounds simple enough, right - wrong.
This girl is totally opposed to all things girly.
Pocket Fun from Stampin Up provided me
with just the right stamps.

Ingredients:
Pocket Fun - Stampin Up
Blue Bazzil
Patterned Paper

Greetings from My Japanese Geisha Girl

**
Geisha Anya is another image in the digital
range from The Greeting Farm.
The digital images are a bit of fun, however I
don't believe you can ever replace the satisfaction
you get from inking up and stamping a rubber stamp.
Keep a look out at
www.rosesonpaper.com for
the new range of The Greeting Farm rubber
stamps, arriving very soon.
**
**
My two wonderful DT friends, Lim and Susan,
have given me inspiration to make these wonderful
hat pins. Both of them have given me great
information, advice and ideas on how to create these
decorative pieces to add to my cards.
**
**
I had been feeling very envious of their shopping
sprees to Michaels to buy their beads, when I came
across a brilliant store right on my own doorstep.
Funky Lulas, right in the heart of Mornington, is owned and
operated by a wonderful lady, Kim from Oregon, USA.
I've made a couple of purchases there already
this week, and I know it won't be long before I'm
back for some more of those gorgeous beads.

Pretty Head Lily, from The Greeting Farm
is such a lot of fun to work with.
Think pink, girly, glittery, glamour
and your halfway there.
Add some flowers and a bit of
bling and you have a card that
any girl would be happy to receive.

After struggling over the weekend with my
creative ability to come up with a very
masculine birthday card I needed to make
something very pretty.
